For Growers

By registering your FiberMax® cotton, you are allowing yourself the option to sell it as Certified FiberMax Cotton™ with the potential for premiums. Bayer CropScience has chosen to collaborate with three merchants designated as Certified FiberMax Cotton merchants – Allenberg Cotton Company, CropMark Direct and Queensland Cotton. These merchants have agreed to market FiberMax as a premium fiber with the intention of returning a reasonable portion of any premium that result from its certified designation to their growers.

For more information on the program contact the Certified FiberMax Headquarters at 1-806-765-8844 or click here to submit a question or comment via the Web.

Certifying your cotton is simple:

  • Log in using the account number you received in the mail or that you used in a prior year
  • Confirm your FiberMax seed purchase after you log in
  • After harvest, log in and register the USDA Permanent Bale Identification Numbers of your FiberMax cotton,

or

  • If your gin registers bales, inform your gin of the modules that are FiberMax cotton and provide them with your account number

The bale registration information your gin submits will be available only to a Certified FiberMax Cotton merchant who is purchasing your cotton. Your bale registration information will only be available to mills after they have worked through a Certified FiberMax merchant to obtain a certificate of authenticity. This provides greater confidence for mills that want genuine FiberMax cotton and are willing to pay a premium for it, and provides you the opportunity to share in these premiums.
